Preference Flex Select is a flexible premium deferred fixed annuity that allows the convenience of making flexible contributions into one account with an added benefit of a first-year 4.00% interest rate bonus and an initial guaranteed rate for one year.
A first-year 4.00% interest rate bonus which is added to your base rate can kick-start your savings and is a great tool to help you create your own personal safety net. This bonus applies to both initial and subsequent payments made during the first contract year. Preference Flex Select works together with your other investments as an additional tool to help ensure an income stream during retirement.
We know that a lifetime of work deserves a lifetime of income.1 The Preference Flex Select offers you the guarantee that you will not outlive your retirement income. While some contract holders may choose to access their contract value through withdrawals2, others may want to consider a payment option to begin an annuitized income stream with their accumulated contract value at retirement.
